Invitations

INSTRUCTIONS

Please enter the email address, family name and the role for each participant. When you click Invite, an email will be sent inviting them to participate in the application.

If you incorrectly type in a participant’s family name, you will receive an error message. The system will recognize the discrepancy only after the participant has accepted the invitation. For your application to be successfully verified, the participant’s family name must be identical to the family name found in SSHRC’s database.

It is the responsibility of each invited person to complete, verify and submit their Accept Invitation form. Your application will not be “Verified Successfully” unless all invited participants have successfully completed and verified their invitations.

Co-applicants must submit a CCV.

Collaborators need only accept and verify the invitation form.

STRATEGIC ADVICE

Be sure to send out invitations to Co-applicants and Collaborators early in the application process, as you will not be able to submit your grant if there are any pending invitations (invitations that have not been accepted and completed). Especially in the case of non-academic team members, consider asking them to create a profile using a password they don’t mind sharing, so that you (or perhaps a student) can assist them in navigating the SSHRC system.
